Office Cleaning - What Should Really Get Done?
Sometimes, even if you have some kind of cleaning schedule in place, your office can just look a bit worse for wear. It might not even look so bad, but given that the office environment is the first port of call for new potential clients and customers, surely it is worth creating a good first impression. You can never get back that opportunity. So the next time you are thinking about your office environment and its cleanliness, make yourself a checklist on the areas that really need to be cleaned and dealt with. These should be somewhere along the lines of the following areas in your office:
1. Foyer and Reception Entrances
2. Public or Customers' Restrooms
3. Waste Removal and Recycling
4. Hallways
5. Stairs and Elevators
6. Offices
7. Employees' Restrooms
Once you can see more clearly the areas that need to be properly cleaned, it is much easier for you to assign these tasks. If no one in your office has time to take care of these areas on a regular basis properly and thoroughly, then you might want to think about the possibility of hiring the professionals. Don't let all your hard company work be in vein by destroying a potentially great first impression from the less than professional ambience created by a not so clean office. It's so easy to fix that!
